Tables that arrived much later than we did had already received their pizzas and they were eating already. After two drinks and talking & talking, we realized it had been a very long time and still no pizzas. Carla finally re-appeared and got the 2nd round of drinks. We chatted and finished our drinks and we kept looking around for Carla and it took awhile for her to return to our table as several people wanted a 2nd glass of wine.
When the drinks arrived, we were ready to order and we ordered three separate medium pizza's so each couple had their own pizza. When the other two members of our party arrived, we all ordered drinks and then we reviewed the menu. wanted to take our drink orders but I advised that we had two more people that should be there shortly. Our server was Carla and she did welcome us and. We arrived around 4:20 pm so it wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. We decided to celebrate two May birthdays for my husband and my sister-in-law at the Giordano's in Oswego, IL.
